The Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Ekiti State Council has congratulated the Police Public Relations Officer, Ekiti State Command, Sunday Abutu who has just been elevation to the rank of DSP.
This is contained in a statement in Ado Ekiti, by the NUJ Chairman, Comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela and the Secretary Kayode Babatuyi.
According to the statement, the elevation of Abutu is a well deserved one considering his diligence, commitment to work, loyalty to the force and passion for a better society.
It reads: ” We are indeed happy to hear the news about the promotion of one of us in the police force, the image maker of Ekiti Command, Sunday Abutu.
“We are not surprised by this good news because Sunday Abutu has shown character and professionalism which is a justification for any one to get promoted on the job.
“We at NUJ rejoice with you and it is our prayers that you will get to the peak of your career in the force.
The union equally congratulated other officers promoted and urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them.
