Buhari Commissions Custom Service Headquarters

…commends Service’s Commitment

President Muhammadu Buhari today commissioned the Nigerian Custom Service Corporate Headquarters, tagged Custom House, in Abuja.

The custom house which has in it 12 in-floor tower has been under construction for the past 16 years, received a new outlook as it was finally commissioned by the outgoing President.

President Buhari commended the service for its commitments and persistent in the course of actualizing the project.

Chairman of Custom Service, Hameed Ibrahim Ali CFR, who also appreciated members of the commission for its corporation, stated that the new custom house would enable it to establish an efficient, robust modern and effective custom service for the development of the country.

He said, “It is an honour and privilege to be here commemorating the Custom Service Headquarters today. This is a journey to a more efficient, robust modern and effective custom Service. This stands as our unwavering commitment to ensure its readiness and tackle its challenges in the 21st century.”
