Recall that, the Party had experienced some leadership clash between Abure and Apapa which has led to the controversial “Apapa Fraction”.

According to the report, the Labour Party Lawyer confronted the Apapa Lawyer who was against their oral application for stay which was eventually overrulled by the court , as they were granted Stay Pending Appeal.

The report states, “FCT state High Court today, Friday May 19, our lawyer confronted the Claimants (Apapa) lawyer who was opposing our oral application for stay since all evidence of a valid and subsisting appeal was before the Court.
