Former lawmaker, Shehu Sani has slammed Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State for grounding economic, social and educational activities of the State over the visit of President-elect, Bola Tinubu.
Sani said it’s a mark of desperation for favour and accommodation.
Recall that Wike had declared Wednesday, May 3 public holiday over Tinubu’s two-day visit to the state.
Tinubu is also expected to commission some projects while in the State.
However, Sani said that Wike grounding economic activities because of Tinubu’s visit was a mark of desperation for favour.
He wrote, “Commissioning a project is a mark of great achievement. Kudos. But grounding the economic, social and educational activities of the state for that purpose is a mark of desperation for favour and accommodation by a flatterer. Tinubu can say no to that or else it becomes the norm.”
