…as Sudanese Air Force Plans to Survey Areas Hosting RSF

President Muhammadu Buhari has said that the fight which erupted in the Sudanese capital between the military and Rapid Support Forces, RSF, is uncalled for.
The spokesperson to the President, Garba Shehu disclosed this via his verified Twitter handler, @GarShehu.
Buhari said this when Transitional President of Chad, Gen. Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno visted him in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
The BBC had reported that “fierce clashes have been happening across Sudan as fighting between rival armed factions continues to spread.”
Meanwhile, Sudanese air force in a statement published on its Facebook page has advised citizens to stay indoors following plans to launch a full aerial survey of areas hosting RSF activity.
Sudan has continued to face political instability following the military takeover in 2021, also, since then Sundan has been faced with depreciating currency, food insecurity and high inflation rates.
Buhari who described the situation in Sudan as unfortunate said that Sudan deserves peace after all that it had gone through in the past.
