…rejoices with workers on Easter celebration.
The Nigeria Labour Congress NLC, Ekiti State has congratulated the Governor of the State, His Excellency Biodun Oyebanji on the victory recorded at the supreme court over the Governorship case filed against him by the SDP governorship candidate, Chief Segun Oni.
In a statement in Ado Ekiti, the NLC Chairman in Ekiti State, Comrd. Kolapo Olatunde noted that the judgment of the supreme court was an attestation to the fact that residents of the state voted for governor Oyebanji during the governorship election .
The NLC Chairman called on chief Segun Oni and his supporters to support governor Oyebanji in his move to transform the state in term of economy and infrastructural development.
Comrd Kolapo therefore commended the step taken so far by the governor to create conducive environment for workers and urged him to ensure payment of the remaining benefits to Civil servants, staff of higher institutions and retirees in the State.
He therefore used the opportunity to rejoice with workers in the state for witnessing Easter celebration in good and sound health.
