NUT Ekiti Hails Oyebanji on Supreme Court Victory, says no more distractions

The Chairman, Nigeria Union of Teachers, NUT, Ekiti State Wing, Comrade Emmanuel Oke has hailed Governor Biodun Oyebanji on his victory at the Supreme Court.

Comrade Oke said this in Ado-Ekiti, on Thursday, following the pronouncement of the Supreme Court, reaffirming the victory of Governor Oyebanji in the 2022 Ekiti State governorship election.

The NUT Ekiti Chair described the victory at the apex court as a sign of good things to come for residents of the state, particularly teachers.

While congratulating the good people of the state, he noted that the victory will paved the way for Governor Oyebanji to consolidate in providing purposeful leadership.

Comrade Oke seized the opportunity to urge the governor to prioritise the welfare of teachers in the state civil service commission.

On behalf of all Ekiti teachers both at the primary and secondary schools across Ekiti State, I rejoice with our amiable Governor for the resounding victory.

It is divine and well deserved because Ekiti people actually voted for Oyebanji massively.

The coast is clearer now, our Governor can now concentrate on his dreams of building a better Ekiti particularly the repositioning of the education sector and making life better for teachers.

Teachers in Ekiti State love you and we will continue to pray for you.
