…commends Oyebanji leadership style
The Nigeria Labour Congress NLC Ekiti state chapter has commended residents of the state especially workers for conducting themselves in a peaceful manner during the last presidential and National Assembly elections held on Saturday.
NLC Chairman in Ekiti State, Comrade Kolapo Olatunde who commended the people while speaking with journalists in Ado Ekiti congratulated all the winners including Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, Hon. Yemi Adaramodu, senator_elect, Mr cyrill Fajuyi, Hon. Olusola Fatoba, and Hon. Femi Bamisile.
He urged them to use their positions to facilitate employment opportunity, infrastructures, and social amenities to Ekiti State.
He charged the winners to be magnanimous in victory and urged those who lost out to be gallant in defeat, saying their own time would soon come.
The NLC Chairman also appreciated the governor for given preference to the welfare of workers through prompt payment of salaries, leave bonuses, arrears, pension and gratuities.
He appealed to Governor Oyebanji to see to the payment of gratuityof retirees of BOUESTI which has not been attended to many years ago.
