Excitement as Adamolekun Foundation Ends Water Problem in Ekiti Community

The lack of access to potable water experienced by people of Aisegba Ekiti, Gbonyin Local Government Area over the years  has now become a thing of the past.

This followed the construction of an Automated Solar Powered Borehole by Kayode Adamolekun Foundation, which is first of its kind in the state.

The Automated Solar borehole was designed because the community has been in darkness for over a decade and all boreholes constructed by individuals and government couldn’t function well due power issue.

This Automated Solar Powered Borehole which was sponsored by a son of the community, Kayode Adamolekun  came as a succour to people of the community as it regulates itself and provide water all days.

People of the community who could not hide their joy  trooped out in excitement and joy dancing in appreciation of the gesture.

Addressing the gathering, the donour of the borehole, Kayode Adamolekun said his intention was to enhance the living standard of his people and to make life better for them.

He said:”Those who know me, can attest to it that, I love to do things without making noise but sometimes we need to do things to encourage others.

“I am not a politician and I don’t want to be one soon, but everything I do is for the sake of love and humanity.

He challenged the lawmaker representing, Gbonyin constituncy, Princess Teju Okuyiga to continue to do her best to attract more dividends of democracy to people of Aisegba Ekiti.

“I wants our monarch and community leaders to encourage sons and daughters of the community in diaspora to come home and invest in the community, I know a lot of them that are doing fine.

“Let’s support sons and daughters of the community who are doing well in Diaspora to come home, we don’t need to attack them spiritually.

“I had wanted to build two of this, but the bill seems much but I promise that I will get it done very soon.

Untill I breath my last breath, I will be close to my people, I grew up here, I saw it all, I know what it is to have access to potable water and basic needs of life.

In a remark, the lawmaker representing Gbonyin Constituncy, Princess Teju Okuyiga commended Mr. Kayode Adamolekun for the gesture which he said would bring succour to the community especially during the dry season

Also a leader of the community, Mr. Femi Fakeye said “I am seeing Kayode for the second time in my life but I have heard about his good works many times, I am proud of you

“He is indeed a good ambassador of Aisegba Ekiti, I want all other indegenes of this town to take a cue from what he has done.

Representatives of the Apalufin in council showered encomium on the donour and prayed God to continue to uplift him.
