A former ward 2 PDP women leader in Ikole Local government, Ekiti State,Mrs Christiana Okunola and fifty others party stalwarts from Isaba Ekiti dumped their party PDP and embraced the broom revolution of APC.
Isaba Ekiti is the hometown of the PDP Ekiti North Senatorial candidate, Mr. Funso Ayeni whose candidature was nullified by a ruling of the Federal High Court Ado Ekiti and ordered for fresh primary election.
The event was witnessed by the APC State Legal Officer Barrister Adeyeye who represented the APC State Chairman Paul Omotoso and admitted the new members to APC.
The Executive Chairman of Ikole West LCDA, Hon. Kayode Ogunsakin, Chief Biodun Akin- Fasae, Chief Olatuyi Fodio, Chief Niyi Ojo, representing the APC IN Ekiti North Senatorial Candidate, Hon. Cyril Fasuyi and other leaders of the party were also on ground.
Barrister Adeyeye welcoming the decamped members promised them equal opportunities with others. He enjoined the large gatherings to vote for all the candidates of Apc from the President to the members of house of assembly in the forthcoming general elections.
