Former Ekiti Council Boss Declares for House of Representatives Seat

Canvasses Votes for Segun Oni

A stallwart of the Social Democratic Party,  SDP,  Honourable Akin Ogidi has  declared  his intention to contest the post of House of Representatives Ekiti South Federal constituency II.

Declaring his intention in Ode ward  1 and 2, Hon Ogidi explained that his intention to vie for the position was to bring good governance to his people.

The former local Goverment Council boss in  Gbonyin local lamented low development in the State and appealed to residents to vote SDP candidate during the Governorship Election.

He explained that a vote for chief Segun is a vote for change in Ekiti State, saying that no governor’s achievements have surpassed that of chief Oni when he ruled the state as governor.

Hon Ogidi described Chief Oni as a selfless leaders that have passion for the development of Ekiti State and residents, hence the need to give him their votes during the forthcoming governorship election.

The House of Representatives aspirant noted that Chief Segun Oni is the best candidate that could bring development to the state.

On his ambition, Hon Ogidi  noted that he had what it takes to bring unprecedented development to his constituents due to his antecedent as council boss.

He  urged  people of the state not to engage  in  vote buying, but vote Chief Segun Oni who has been  tested and trusted for the position and support other SDP candidates in subsequent elections

Some of the party leaders who spoke during the declaration described Hon. Ogidi as the best person for the position and promised to support him during the primary election and beyond.
