…describes him as credible candidate
An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Ikole Local Government Area of Ekiti State, Otunba Adesola Adeboro, has called on residents of Ekiti North Senatorial District to vote for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) senatorial candidate, Prince Funsho Ayeni, in next year’s National Assembly election.
Otunba Adeboro made the appeal in Ikole-Ekiti during a visit to some members of the ADC in the local government area, where he expressed support for Ayeni’s ambition to represent the district at the National Assembly.
The APC chieftain urged residents to look beyond party affiliations and support what he described as a collective political effort to produce effective representation for Ekiti North.
He said his decision to mobilise support for Ayeni was part of efforts to build a broad-based coalition that would strengthen the candidate’s chances in the forthcoming election.
Adeboro also disclosed plans to visit members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ikole Local Government Area to solicit their support for the ADC candidate.
He said the proposed engagement with PDP members was intended to bring more political stakeholders into the coalition and expand the support base for Ayeni across the local government.
The APC chieftain described the initiative as a coalition movement, stressing the need for political actors from different backgrounds to work together towards achieving their common objective.
He expressed optimism that sustained grassroots mobilisation and cooperation among political groups would translate into strong electoral support for Prince Funsho Ayeni in the 2027 National Assembly election.
