An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain from Ikole Local Government Area of Ekiti State, Otunba Adesola Adeboro, has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and four other APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Otunba Adeboro who declared support for President Tinubu’s second-term ambition while addressing some APC members in ikole expressed his backing for the President’s re-election bid.
The APC chieftain also endorsed Prince Funsho Ayeni of ADC for the Ekiti North Senatorial District seat, while throwing his weight behind Akintunde Rotimi for the Ikole/Oye Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives.
At the state level, Otunba Adeboro endorsed Ogunsakin Michael as the APC candidate for Ikole Constituency One in the Ekiti State House of Assembly.
He also declared support for speaker of the State House of Assembly, Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye, who is seeking re-election to represent Ikole State Constituency Two in the Ekiti State House of Assembly.
The endorsements cover the presidential, senatorial, federal constituency and state constituency elections, reflecting Adeboro’s support for the five candidates across the different levels of government.
The APC chieftain’s declaration comes as political activities and consultations gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Otunba Adeboro’s support for the candidates also highlights the importance of party unity and grassroots mobilisation in Ikole Local Government and the wider Ekiti North Senatorial District.
