The Central Planning Committee (CPC) of the Solomon and Mary Lar Leadership Institute has expressed condolences to renowned Nigerian academic and former Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), Professor Suleiman Elias Bogoro, over the death of his mother, Mama Salamatu Bogoro, who died at the age of 105.
Speaking during a condolence visit to the family, Chairman of the Committee, Hon. Bimbo Daramola, described the deceased as a woman who lived a fulfilled life devoted to the service of God and humanity.
He said the committee paid the condolence visit to Professor Bogoro, who is the Chairman of the Solomon and Mary Lar Foundation, to commiserate with him and the entire family over the loss.
Daramola noted that Mama Salamatu Bogoro’s long life was marked by meaningful contributions to humanity, adding that the testimonies of those who encountered her would remain a lasting testament to her good deeds.
Other members of the committee who spoke described the deceased as a virtuous, disciplined and selfless woman who served as a role model for many Nigerian women.
They prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
