A Non governmental organization, Bibi Grace Foundation has reaffirmed its commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable children through a school outreach programme in Ado-Ekiti, where it provided new school uniforms to indigent students and sensitised hundreds of pupils on child protection issues.
The intervention followed a moving encounter between officials of the foundation and students wearing badly worn school uniforms during a visit to the school.
According to the foundation, a conversation with some of the students shows that the harsh economic realities incapacitated their parents from providing a new uniform for them.

While one student disclosed that his parents could not afford a replacement uniform, another said he was an orphan with no one to provide one for him.
Touched by the situation, Bibi Grace Foundation immediately identified six vulnerable students and presented them with brand-new school uniforms, a gesture aimed at restoring their dignity and encouraging them to remain focused on their education.
Presenting the items on behalf of the foundation, the Programs Manager, Kehinde Oluwatoba, said the organisation remains committed to ensuring that poverty does not rob children of the confidence and opportunity to learn.
She noted that every child deserves not only access to education but also an environment that promotes dignity, safety and personal development.
Beyond the donation, the foundation organised an extensive sensitisation programme on child abuse, bullying, peer pressure, drug abuse and child trafficking, equipping students with the knowledge to recognise abuse, resist negative influences and seek help when necessary.
Oluwatoba urged the students to cultivate values of kindness, empathy and mutual respect, stressing that character development is as important as academic excellence.
She said the students’ active participation showed the importance of continuous awareness programmes in schools, adding that real change starts with educating young people.
“Sometimes the impact of what we do may not be immediately visible, but every child we reach and every lesson shared plants a seed that can transform lives and communities,” she said.
The outreach forms part of Bibi Grace Foundation’s broader mission of supporting vulnerable children through education, welfare interventions and advocacy programmes designed to restore hope and build a better future.
The foundation also appreciated its partners and supporters for making the intervention possible, reaffirming its resolve to expand its reach to more underserved communities across the country.
