The winner of the All Progressives Congress, APC, primary election for the Ekiti South Federal Constituency 1, Hon. Toyin Okoro has expressed gratitude to party members and delegates in his constituency for the overwhelming support.
Speaking with newsmen after his victory, Okoro described the outcome of the election as a reflection of the trust and confidence constituents have in his capacity to represent them effectively.
He thanked party leaders, elders, and youths who supported him throughout the campaign, saying their backing gave him the momentum to emerge victorious.
“I am deeply humbled by this victory. It belongs to every member of our great party who believes in progress, unity, and credible representation,” he said. “Your votes have shown that our people want leadership that listens and delivers.”
Okoro promised to work harder in the coming months to ensure that APC retains the seat in the general election.
He pledged to run an inclusive campaign that prioritizes grassroots mobilization, issue-based messaging, and direct engagement with voters across the constituency.
“My commitment is to secure victory for our party and, more importantly, to justify the confidence you have placed in me through quality representation.
Okoro urged other aspirants and their supporters to join hands with him to strengthen party unity ahead of the general election, saying only a united front could guarantee success at the polls.
