The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists in Ekiti State, Kayode Babatuyi, is celebrating his birthday today as journalists across the state commend his leadership and dedication to the profession.
Members of the union praised Babatuyi for his commitment to ethical journalism and his consistent efforts toward strengthening professionalism within the media space.
Colleagues noted that under his leadership, the union has continued to promote integrity, discipline, and unity among journalists across the state.
They also commended his dedication to the welfare of media practitioners, saying his approach to leadership has encouraged cooperation and growth within the journalism profession.
Some journalists described Babatuyi as a leader who guides with wisdom and purpose, stressing that his passion for the profession has motivated younger journalists to uphold strong ethical standards.
As he celebrates another year, well-wishers prayed for greater knowledge, strength, and good health for the NUJ chairman. They expressed hope that he would continue to contribute meaningfully to the growth of journalism and the development of society.
