The Ekiti State Government has declared Thursday, Feb. 19 and Friday, Feb. 20, 2026, as mid-term break for all public and private schools in the state.
The State Commissioner for Education, Dr Olabimpe Aderiye, made this known in a statement made available to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti on Tuesday
Aderiye said the break was in line with the approved school calendar for the second term of the 2025/2026 academic session.
She added that pupils and teachers are expected to resume for academic activities on Monday, Feb. 23, 2026.
