NURTW, ZONE TWO GETS NEW EXECUTIVE MEMBERS

…as Ekiti NURTW Chairman, Oloforo becomes zonal Deputy Chairman

The National Union of Road Transport Workers NURTW, has sworn in the executive members that will pilot the affairs of the Union in zone two comprises of EKiti, Ondo, Oyo, Lagos and Ogun states, position of vice Chairman goes to Osun State Chairman,

The new executive members are Ogun State NURTW, Chairman Alhaji Mustapha Adewale know as Yaro, Chairman, Ekiti State Chairman, Chief Joseph Falope known as Oloforo, Deputy zonal Chairman,Nurudeen Alowonle Vice chairman, Alh.Sulaimon Ojora Auditor and Alh.Sulaimon Yusuf Trustee.

Declaring the Conference open, representative of Osun State Governor, the State Commissioner for Transportation, Mr Oyedele Omisesan commended the contributions of drivers to economy development, saying the profession should be guide jealously by members of the Union.

In his speech, the immediate past zonal chairman of NURTW, Zone two, Olalekan Salami charged all the state chairmen of the Union to ensure transparent in the sales of tickets, saying such was the power of the Union.
Zonal Delegate Conference

In a remark, National president of NURTW, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya known as MC Oluomo confirmed the driver profession is a noble one and called for the cooperation of members to continue promoting the job and support those at the helms of affairs of the union for its progress and development.

Called on the newly elected south west leaders to complement the efforts the Headquarters and ensure peace and unity across the States under the zone two NURTW.

The leaders urged them to adequately orientate members of the union for them to known the rule and regulations guiding NURTW and advocated full support for the National President of the Union, MC Olumo.

Taking oath of offices the newly elected NURTW Zone two executives including Ekiti State NURTW Chairman, Chief Joseph Falope known as Oloforo promised to use their experience to continue moving the union forward and thanked the National President of the Union, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya for the opportunity given to them to serve the union.

Chief Falope appreciated Governor Biodun Oyebanji for given him opportunity to lead members of the NURTW in Ekiti State and promised more support for him.
