

Staff and students of Orin High School, Ido Osi Local Government Area of Ekiti State, on Tuesday, celebrated the principal of the school, Prince Lawrence Obafemi Ogunlade, who retired from the service of the state government.
The principal and his family were received amidst pomp and pageantry by the staff and students, who rolled out drums and sang to eulogize him for his outstanding contributions to the growth and development of the school.
Speaking at a short ceremony in the school, academic and non-academic staff described the principal as a hardworking man who gave his best towards ensuring moral and academic excellence.
According to those who spoke, Prince Ogunlade is a kind-hearted man who made a positive impact in the lives of everyone who came across him in the discharge of his duties.

Students who also spoke described Prince Ogunlade as a disciplinarian who always wants the best for all students.
In his valedictory message, Prince Ogunlade thanked the staff for their support and urged them to continue to discharge their duties diligently.
He promised to continue to reach out at intervals and be ready to give his moral support when needed.
The highlight of the ceremony was the signing of the official register for the last time, marking a significant moment in his career.
