…restates commitment to party growth, development
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Otunba Oluwadare Owolabi, has called on party members to participate fully in the ongoing APC E-registration and membership card exercise aimed at updating the party’s database.
In a statement issued by the Dare Owolabi Media Office, Owolabi said the exercise is mandatory for all APC members who wish to be officially recognized and participate in party activities and internal elections.
According to him, members are required to present their National Identification Number (NIN), Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC), and an active Gmail account, as well as details of their local government, ward, and polling unit during the registration process.
He explained that interested members can complete their registration by visiting their respective local government secretariats or contacting their ward party chairmen for proper guidance.
Owolabi noted that only APC-approved enumerators are authorized to capture members’ details, adding that this is to ensure the credibility and integrity of the registration process.
He stated that upon successful registration, members would receive their APC membership slips either in printed form or as a soft copy.
The APC chieftain stressed that only members who complete the e-registration exercise and obtain valid APC membership cards will be eligible to vote or contest in party activities and elections.
Owolabi therefore urged party members not to delay their registration, describing active participation as key to strengthening the party’s internal democracy and ensuring that members’ voices are properly represented.
