Ekiti North 2026: Owolabi Pushes Accountability, People-Driven Development.

Otunba Oluwadare Owolabi has declared accountability and people-driven development as the core pillars of his political agenda for Ekiti North Senatorial District, signalling a shift from symbolic representation to performance-based leadership.

Speaking through a statement released by the Dare Owolabi Media Office, Owolabi said his entry into the political space is motivated by the need to restore credibility to public office and deliver development that citizens can see, feel, and measure.

He said years of ineffective representation have deepened public dissatisfaction, adding that Ekiti North deserves leadership that prioritizes service delivery over political survival.

Owolabi stressed that accountable governance remains the foundation for economic growth, improved social services, and stronger democratic participation within the district.

He explained that his development agenda focuses on inclusion, targeting youths, women, artisans, farmers, and underserved communities as key drivers of local growth

The aspirant called on residents and political stakeholders to embrace a new leadership culture defined by transparency, responsibility, and direct engagement with the people.

Owolabi said he remains confident that Ekiti North can chart a new course built on trust, dignity, and sustainable development under leadership that places the people first.
