You’ve Not Justified Your Mandate, NNPP Governorship Candidate calls Out Senator Adaramodu

Only none existing Being will question my performance, I have surpassed my predecessors.. Adaramodu Fires Back

The governorship candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) for the 2026 election in Ekiti State, Hon. Blessing Abegunde, has expressed strong dissatisfaction with the performance of the Senator representing the South Senatorial District, Hon. Yemi Adaramodu an allegation the Senator dismissed.

Adaramodu confirmed that he has served his people diligently within two years, saying only a non existing being who perhaps lives in the moon can query his performance.

In a statement in Ado Ekiti, Abegunde had alleged that Adaramodu failed to give quality representation to the people nor deliver any meaningful impact.

Hon. Abegunde stated that the senator has “done absolutely nothing to justify a second term,” adding that the expectations and hopes of the people remain unmet.

According to the NNPP governorship candidate, leadership must be judged by tangible results, people-focused empowerment, and visible development not by mere occupancy of office.

He urged public office holders to understudy effective representatives across the country, citing Senator Rufai Sani Hanga of Kano Central under the NNPP as a model of result-driven and people-oriented leadership.

Speaking further, Hon. Abegunde emphasized that as the 2026 elections approach, voters must be intentional in entrusting their mandate to leaders with the vision, competence, and commitment to deliver genuine service to the people.

He warned against rewarding underperformance and mislabeling symbolic actions as empowerment.

Reacting further, Adarmodu listed some of his achievements within two years to include Ongoing pavilion in Ogoga Palace.
