…Commends Governor Oyebanji’s transformation agenda
The Director General of the Ekiti State Transport Agency, Hon. (Barr.) Tajudeen Akingbolu, has taken a major step toward addressing transportation challenges in Ekiti State by seeking collaboration with Oyo State.
As part of his mission to create a sustainable and efficient transport system, Hon. Akingbolu met with the Chairman and Sole Administrator of Oyo State Pacesetter Transport Services, Hon. Dr. Dikko Salami, during a courtesy visit in Ibadan.
Speaking after the meeting, Hon. Akingbolu described the visit as a critical move toward complementing Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s transformation agenda.
“This visit is part of my efforts to build a robust transport agency that will ease transportation challenges in Ekiti. Our discussion focused on how both states can work together to drive prosperity and deliver meaningful impact to the masses,” he said.
He further expressed confidence in the future of the Ekiti State Transport Agency, and commended Governor Oyebanji for his forward-thinking leadership.
“With the immense potential in Ekiti and the determination of our Governor to provide the needed support, I have no doubt that we are on the right path. I deeply appreciate Mr. Governor for approving the innovative ideas we are bringing to life,” Akingbolu added.
Hon. Dr. Salami, who received the Ekiti delegation, reaffirmed Oyo State’s readiness to partner with neighboring states to advance sustainable transportation systems.
Reflecting on the visit, Hon. Akingbolu praised the warm reception and expressed optimism about the collaboration.
“The reception from Dr. Salami and his team emphasized our shared commitment to development. Together, we can build a transport system that not only benefits our states but also serves as a model for others,” he said.
