NURTW Commends President Tinubu for Approving Federal Road Projects in Ekiti

...as Union Chairman, Oloforo attributes achievement to Governor Oyebanji’s commitment

The National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Ekiti State has praised President Bola Tinubu for approving the construction of two federal roads in the state.

The projects are Itawure‑Aramoko‑Ado Ekiti road and the Aramoko‑Ijero‑Ifaki Ekiti road.

In a statement in Ado Ekiti, NURTW State Chairman, Ambassador Joseph Falope, thanked President Tinubu for the decision, noting that the new roads would boost economic activity and improve the transport of agricultural produce from Ekiti to other states.

Ambassador Falope, who is also known as Oloforo, attributed the achievement to Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s commitment to developing the state’s road network.

He highlighted the governor’s efforts in agriculture, youth and women empowerment, workers’ welfare, education and other sectors during his three‑year tenure.

The EKiti State NURTW Chairman urged residents of Ekiti, both at home and abroad, to support Governor Oyebanji beyond his first term and to vote for him in the upcoming gubernatorial election, arguing that continued leadership will further enhance the state’s economic prospects.

The union’s endorsement underscores the growing recognition of the administration’s infrastructure initiatives and their potential impact on the state’s overall development.
