

National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), Ekiti State Council is set to roll out the drums to mark its 2025 Nurses’ week with an array of epoch-making ceremonies in the state.
In a statement in Ado-Ekiti, on Friday, State Chairman of the association, Pastor Samuel Adegbuyi stated that the event is themed: “Our Nurses, Our Future For Nurses Strengthens Caring Economies.” will kickoff on Monday with a road walk which will take off from Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti to office of the first lady at Fajuyi.
The program continues on Tuesday with an opening ceremony which is expected to be attended by Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji as Special Guest of Honour, the Pore of Moba, Oba Adebayo Adeagbo as Royal Father of the day while Dr Bello Cecilia Bukola from Afe Babalola University Ado-Ekiti will deliver the keynote address.
The statement disclosed that the week-long activities will also feature free medical outreach in Otun-Ekiti at the palace of Oore of Moba with the aim of providing healthcare services to people of the area and its environs.

Other lined-up activities for the week include, Jumat service at EKSUTH Mosque while the event will be concluded with a Thanksgiving Service at Gofamint Grace Assembly, Peace Avenue/Love Avenue Iworoko Road.
