CULT CLASHES CLAIM LIVES IN OWO, ONDO STATE

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has imposed a dawn-to-dusk curfew on Owo town, effective immediately, in response to the escalating violent cult clashes and security disturbances that have resulted in loss of lives.

The curfew will remain in place until further notice, requiring all residents to stay indoors during this time.

Only essential services, including hospitals, emergency services, and law enforcement will be exempted from the curfew.

Governor Aiyedatiwa has also directed security agencies in the state to enforce the curfew, prioritize the safety of lives and properties, apprehend those responsible for the violence, and restore peace to the community.

This measure aims to curb the ongoing violence and ensure public safety.
