FEDERAL COMMISSIONER, OLUGA WELCOMES AMBO TO AYEDAADE, DESCRIBES HIM AS TRUE SERVANT OF OSUN PEOPLE

Federal Commissioner representing the South-West on the National Assembly Service Commission, Hon. Taiwo Olukemi Oluga, has thrown her weight behind the governorship ambition of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), describing him as “a professional in politics with a heart of service and humility.”

Hon. Oluga made the remark on Sunday in Gbongan, the political headquarters of Ayedaade Local Government Area, during the grand reception of the AMBO Movement as it rounded off its consultation tour across all local government areas in Osun State.

The visit, which drew a large crowd of All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders and loyalists, turned the ancient town into a carnival of support for Oyebamiji, who is seeking the party’s ticket ahead of the 2026 governorship election.

Speaking at the event, Oluga praised Oyebamiji’s competence, integrity, and administrative experience, saying his record of public service and private sector expertise stands him out as the most prepared aspirant to lead Osun State to a new phase of development.

“Asiwaju Oyebamiji is a professional in politics, tested, trusted, and deeply committed to the progress of our people,” Oluga said.

“His humility and generosity have endeared him to citizens across Osun State. I have no doubt that if he emerges as our party’s candidate, the people will gladly vote for him.”

The former lawmaker and women’s advocate commended Oyebamiji’s pledge to revive the agricultural sector, especially in rural and agrarian communities like Ayedaade.

She urged APC members and Osun residents to unite behind his vision of inclusive growth and economic empowerment.“We must support leaders who understand our needs and have the capacity to deliver.

Oyebamiji represents that balance of intellect, experience, and compassion that Osun needs at this time,” Oluga added.

Earlier, APC leaders in Ayedaade including Pa. Edward Bowade, Hon. Soji Opawuni, Hon. Adebayo Taiwo Olodo, Hon. Ismaila Alagbada, and Hon. Sabaina Adegboye had pledged their full support for Oyebamiji, describing him as “the perfect man for the job.”

In his remarks, Asiwaju Oyebamiji thanked party members for their warm reception throughout the statewide consultation.

He reaffirmed his commitment to transform Osun’s economy through agriculture, infrastructure, and people-centered governance.

“We have completed our consultations across all local governments, and the love we have received everywhere is overwhelming,” Oyebamiji said. “Ayedaade is an agrarian council, and I assure you that agriculture will be a top priority when we form the next government. We will empower farmers, improve infrastructure, and make Osun a hub for agro-investment.”

The event marked the conclusion of AMBO’s extensive grassroots consultation, which has seen him tour all 30 local government areas and the area office, meeting with party stakeholders and supporters across the state.
