The SSA Farm Settlement and Agriculture to Ekiti State Governor, Temitope Adewole is set to facilitate a free health mission sponsored by SEBI FOUNDATION for the Oraye Ise community on Saturday 14th, Dec.’24.
The free medical mission will feature free eye checks, screening and treatment of common ailments.
Addressing newsmen at his residence in Ise-Ekiti, the SSA Farm Settlement and Agriculture who is the facilitator of the free health mission said the programme, which will hold in Ise-Ekiti is fully sponsored by Sebi Foundation.
The medical outreach would be handled by medical professionals in Ekiti State
He explained that the primary focus of the programme is achieving the common health related issues which, among others, include ophthalmological consultations with distribution of free eyeglasses, general consultations, as well as screening for hypertension and diabetes.
Other areas of services are free medications, simple health education procedures, and reproductive health counselling.
According to the SSA, the medical mission is one of the doings of Sebi Foundation in giving back to the less privileged. He said the program is an annual event.
Mr Adewole furthered that the programme serves as alternative access to healthcare delivery especially to his people at the grassroots and to support the good work of the Governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji in providing free and qualitative health care for the vulnerable as enshrined in his 6-point agenda.
“The Governor is continuously finding ways to improve the health status of its ever increasing population.
This programme is geared toward promoting health, detecting diseases early, and offering treatment and rehabilitation, particularly in the area of eye checks.” Tope said.
