Hon. Bimbo Daramola who represented Oye/Ikole at the National Assembly has expressed delight over the high sense of maturity, calmness and decorum displayed by Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji despite various unlawful actions perpetrated by some politicians to provoke and discredit his government.
Daramola who spoke with newsmen in Ado Ekiti explained that despite the various stage managed violence and misinformation masterminded to give the governor a bad name, he has continued to preach peace and beg for unity among everyone.
According to Daramola, such a trait displayed by the governor is unusual and that has been one of the major factors many groups and organisations are supporting his second term bid.
Daramola said:” I have been part of the system for a while now, I know how Governors use their authority and power, but Governor Oyebanji out of his humility has chosen to uphold decency and peace above shenanigans.
However, Daramola cautioned politicians to operate with decency and not to take the humility and simplicity of the governor for granted.
