HON. FATOBA URGES EKITI RESIDENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN VOTER REGISTRATION EXERCISE

The member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1 and Chairman of the House Committee on Information, National Orientation, Ethics, and Values, Hon. Olusola Fatoba, has called on residents of Ekiti State to actively participate in the ongoing nationwide continuous voter registration exercise.

Hon. Fatoba emphasized the importance of registration for Nigerian citizens aged 18 years and above, noting that it would enable them to vote for credible leaders during elections.

He highlighted that the exercise also provides an opportunity for citizens to update their information, transfer voter registration to another unit, or replace damaged or lost voter cards.

The lawmaker appealed to Ekiti residents to authenticate their identities with updated Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to enable them to cast their votes for Governor Biodun Oyebanji, whom he described as performing excellently well in the state.

Hon. Fatoba urged citizens to seize the opportunity to participate in the electoral process ahead of the governorship election in Ekiti State and future general elections.
