EKITI NURTW URGES MEMBERS TO PARTICIPATE IN VOTER REGISTRATION EXERCISE

The National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Ekiti State Chapter, has called on its members across the 16 local government areas to participate in the ongoing voter registration exercise.

The NURTW State chairman, Ambassador Joseph Falope Known as Oloforo emphasized that registering to vote would give members the opportunity to choose credible leader in the forthcoming governorship election.

Ambassador Falope stressed that voting is a right and encouraged members to visit INEC offices in their local governments to register.

He noted that INEC has put in place necessary facilities to ensure a smooth registration process, saying the exercise is open to those who have turned 18, those who have lost their voter cards, and those who want to change their voting locations, among others.

The NURTW chairman commended the present administration led by Governor Biodun Oyebanji for creating a peaceful and friendly environment and providing infrastructure facilities for residents of the state over the past three years.
