SAN Donates Gowns, Wigs to Indigent Ekiti Law Graduates

Legal luminary and prominent indigene of Ekiti State, Olayiwola Afolabi (SAN), has donated gowns and wigs to indigent Ekiti Law Graduates.

The legal luminary donated 20 gowns and wigs to indigent law graduates from Ekiti State University Ado-Ekiti, who enrolled in law schools.

Presenting the items on Tuesday in Ado-Ekiti to Ekiti State government through the Ministry of Justice, Olayiwola, represented by the Chairman, Trade Union Congress in Ekiti State, Comrade Sola Adigun said the gesture is to encourage legal profession in the State and Nigeria.

He appreciated the Ministry of Justice for availing the donor the opportunity to extend his philanthropic gesture to the good people of the State.

According to him, “You have availed him the opportunity also to extend that gesture to Ekiti State. I appreciate you on behalf of this organization. He has been giving scholarship to his alma mater.

“He really appreciate the Ministry and State government. We have faith in your capabilities that these gowns and wigs will go to the necessary people and he believes in Ekiti.”

Receiving the items, the Attorney-General and Ekiti State Commissioner of Justice, Dayo Apata (SAN) lauded the donor for extending his generosity to young lawyers in the State.

He urged the good people of the state to support young lawyers in the Ekiti by giving back to the society.
