A Leadership Development Institute, GIGMOF School of Mentoring (GSM) on Friday awarded grants worth several millions of naira to some of its 52 graduating students of Batch H 2025 set, during its convocation ceremony held in Ado-Ekiti.
GIGMOF School is located at 1st Floor, Obafemi Aeoloeo Civic and Convention Centre, Fajuyi, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State.
Speaking with journalists, the founder and Director of the School, Gbenga Emiloju said the purpose of the grant was to help the beneficiaries uplift their businesses that would further benefit their personal growth.
Emiloju explained that the establishment of the School was borne out of his desire to reshape youths and individuals whose value and thinking is about bringing positive transformation to the country.
The founder, who said the school was established to help youths discover themselves of their God’s given purposes, acknowledged that youths occupy 66% population of Nigeria, while also exuding confidence in their capacity to change the country for better.
The Ekiti State Head of Service, Dr Folakemi Olomojobi hailed the founder for the establishment of the Institute, saying it’s a testament of improved public-private partnership in the state.
Olomojobi, who emphasized that the functionality of a private sector lies on the strength of public service, urged the graduating students to focus on their dreams and not be despondent.
A grant beneficiary and an awardee, Grace Omachoko expressed her delight as a graduate of the Institute, saying this would further reshape her path on how to be extraordinary in her spheres of life.
Another awardee and graduand, Rotimi Feyisina promised to utilise the knowledge gained to impact his community, build relationships and generate strategic methods to benefit his personal growth.
Other highlights of the ceremony were presentation of gifts and awards to students and stakeholders for their outstanding performances and excellent contributions to the society.
