…as Chairman, Wife extend hands of fellowship to Aged, Youths, PWDs
The Araromi Local Council Development Area (LCDA) under the Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government of Ekiti State has declared its support for the re-election of Governor Biodun Oyebanji and the Senate Leader, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele.
The endorsement was made during a special event held at the LCDA Secretariat in Iyin-Ekiti on Wednesday, which also featured a comprehensive palliative programme for youths, the elderly, persons with disabilities (PWDs) and mothers of multiple births.
Speaking with journalists, the Chairman of Araromi LCDA, Adewale Alade, said the people of the council area remain firmly behind Governor Oyebanji and Senator Bamidele in appreciation of their outstanding contributions to the development of the state and the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Alade explained that the palliative programme, which benefitted over 150 elderly persons, 75 youths and several PWDs, was designed to complement the humanitarian efforts of Governor Oyebanji and ensure that the dividends of democracy reach the grassroots.
Also speaking, the wife of the Chairman, Victoria Alade, noted that the presentation of cash support and food items to mothers of multiple births was in alignment with the vision of the First Lady of Ekiti State, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, in promoting child and maternal welfare across the state.
Some of the beneficiaries, including Chief Okiki Ogundare, Adesola Olutosin and Funmilayo Taiwo, expressed profound gratitude to the Chairman and his wife for the kind gesture while praying God to grant them continued success, longlife and prosperity.
