EKITI ASSEMBLY CONSOLES NUJ OVER DEATH OF TVC CINEMATOGRAPHER, OGUNMILOYO

It is on a sad and sombre note that the Ekiti State House of Assembly wishes to commiserate with the Nigeria Union of Journalists over the death of one of the correspondents of TVC in Ekiti State, Mr. Gbenga Ojo Ogunmiloyo.

Mr. Ogunmiloyo, was seen and known to be a commited journalist in the State who has put in decades of professional service as a cinematographer.

He worked with the Ondo State Radio vision Corporation, Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State and later TVC where he was until his death.

A well known and sociable journalist, Ogunmiloyo built relationships across different strata of the society, and had on many occasions covered assignments in the House of Assembly with professionalism and commitment.

We received the news of his death with a great shock and disbelief but we are consoled by the good life he lived and the legacies of excellence he left behind.

On behalf of the Speaker and members of the House, we sympathize with his family, employer and colleagues, praying that God would console everyone who has been hit in different degrees by this painful departure.

Signed.
Hon. Babatunde Oke
Chairman, Ekiti State House of Assembly Committee on Media and Public Affairs
