The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the University of Nigeria (UNN) Engr. Kayode Olubunmi Ojo has confirmed his intention to slug it out with the incumbent Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji during the primary election of the All Progressives Congress.
Kayode Ojo who spoke with newsmen on the telephone confirmed that his intention to contest the seat was basically out of passion for good governance and development of Ekiti State.
Though, Kayode Ojo did not disclose his strategies, he was of the opinion that the outcome of the election would shock people who hitherto have believed that he is inconsequential.
He called on his supporters to remain resolute and continue with the underground work.
