Endorse Governor Oyebanji for Second Term
It was a moment of joy and excitement in Ado Ekiti as members and leaders of the Association of Community health Practitioners of Nigeria Ekiti State Chapter converge to unveil their newly built ultra modern secretariat with state of the art facilities.
The practitioners who were vividly happy danced to various musics in excitement and appreciation to God for the grace to complete the project which commenced twelve years ago.
The ceremony attracted the National President of the Association, Kabir Yahaya Ahmed, the Ekiti State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Oyebanji Filani, the Head of Service, Dr Folakemi Olomojobi and the SSA Labour Kayode Fatomiluyi who all showered encomium on the leadership of the association for investing in profitable venture.
In their separate remarks the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Oyebanji Filani, the Head of Service, Dr Folakemi Olomojobi restated government’s commitment to better health care services.
During the ceremony, the association endorsed Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for a second term in office based on his various policies and programs which have impacted on their lives positively.
Mr Olatubosun Temitope, the Chairman of the Association in Ekiti highlighted some of the benefits to include payment of outstanding salary arrears and other benefits, renovation of primary health facilities, approval of Consolidated salary structure and employment of more professionals just to mention but a few.
Mr. Temitope who was corroborated by his secretary Cornelius Makanjuola said the community health workers would continue to support the Governor so as to encourage him to do more.
