The Forum of Home-Based Ekiti Indigenes has expressed its unwavering support for Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s reelection bid in 2026. Citing the administration’s impressive developmental strides, prompt salary payments, and diligent settlement of pensioners’ entitlements, the group praised Governor Oyebanji’s leadership.
The group’s Coordinator, Hon. Bayode Okeya, urged the Governor to disregard negative social media campaigns aimed at stirring up discord. Instead, he emphasized that Ekiti’s genuine voters are poised to overwhelmingly endorse Governor Oyebanji’s candidacy in 2026.
The Forum also dismissed critics spreading misinformation about Ekiti State, advising them to remain in their “self-illusion.” With confidence in Governor Oyebanji’s leadership, the group reaffirmed its commitment to supporting his vision for Ekiti’s continued progress.
