The Amotekun Operatives of Oye Local Government Command has apprehended a 26-year-old suspect, Efoghae Friday, from Edo state, who resides in Ado-Ekiti.
According to reports, the suspect approached Mrs. Tiamiyu Tosin, a roadside petty trader at Fajuyi, under the guise of begging for money. While she was making change for a customer, he stole ₦30,000 from her.
Further investigation revealed that the suspect had been harassing passersby and motorists who refused to give him money.
During his arrest, the suspect bit the victim on the chest near her breast while being transported to the police station on a bike.
The suspect has been transferred to the police RRS for further investigation.
