Ekiti State Government has sanctioned a substantial budget of N2.7 billion for the rehabilitation of the De-Head to Faglo, Basiri Junction Road in Ado-Ekiti. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to alleviate traffic congestion and foster economic growth within the state capital.

Governor Biodun Oyebanji emphasized that these projects are part of his administration’s commitment to improving infrastructure and living standards in Ekiti State. He assured that the funds will be judiciously used to ensure the timely completion of both projects.

The approved road project aims to improve the flow of traffic, which has been a persistent issue for commuters and businesses in the area. Once completed, the road is expected to significantly reduce travel time and boost local commerce, enhancing the socio-economic landscape of Ado-Ekiti.

In addition to road rehabilitation, the state government has allocated N700.9 million for the renovation of the House of Assembly complex. These infrastructure developments are not only about easing daily commutes but also about stimulating economic activities in the state capital. The goal is to create a more prosperous Ekiti, where both the government and its people can thrive together.
