OLA-OLUWA MUSLIM GRAMMAR SCHOOL ADO EKITI GETS NEW ALUMNI ASSOCIATION EXECUTIVES

...as Retired Brigadier General Olabode becomes National President

The new executive members that will pilot the affairs of Ola-Oluwa Muslim Grammar School, Ado Ekiti Alumni Association for the next four years have emerged.

The executive members emerged during the maiden election of the Association held in the school premises in Ado Ekiti.

At the election, Retired Brigadier General Dele Tajudeen-Olabode emerged as the National President, Mrs Abiodun Christy Akintade became the National Vice President, Dr Bankole Obileye won the position of National General Secretary, Mr Oladimeji Felix Fele will serve as Treasurer while Mrs Adeniyi Temitope is now the Social Welfare Secretary.

The National Publicity Secretary is Mr Femi Aladesiun, Mrs Olubunmi Jejelowo won that of Internal Auditor, Pastor Funmi Bamidele is the Assistant General Secretary while the Assistant Financial Secretary is Mrs Iyabo Ajijola.

Others are; Assistant National Publicity Secretary, Mr Oluseyi Akinluyi also known as Omo Akin, Legal Adviser, Mr Idowu Owoeye and the Chief Whip, Deacon Olajide Abolarin.

Speaking after the election, Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Alhaji Moshood Bello Adebanji charged the newly elected executive members to use their positions to contribute towards the development of Ola-Oluwa Muslim Grammar school Ado Ekiti and reach out to other alumni of the school both home and abroad.

In an interview, the newly elected National President, Retired Brigadier General Tajudeen-Olabode appreciated those that graced the occasion and promised to justify the confidence repose on him through robust representation.

It was announced at the programme that the swearing-in of the new excos will take place in November this year.
