The Chairman, Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State and former Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ Ekiti State Council Comrade Laolu Omosilde has commended Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji over the huge investment in infrastructure, with reference to improved water supply in the state.
Chief Omosilde in a write up titled”Revitalized Public Water Supply: A Testament to Ekiti State Government’s Development Efforts” confirmed that government had made significant strides in addressing the long-standing issue of public water supply, previously perceived as moribund by the citizens.
He called on people of the state to continue to support Governor Oyebanji because he meant well for the state.
His words:” The government has invested in renovating and expanding the existing water infrastructure, including pipes, treatment plants, and distribution networks.
“As a result of these efforts, citizens now have improved access to clean and reliable water, enhancing their overall quality of life and public health. As I write this, water is flowing from the public tap installed in my house, as a living testament.
“This achievement contradicts the prevailing notion that the government was not working on public water provision, demonstrating its commitment to addressing critical infrastructure needs.
Chief Laolu’s write up was also corroborated by the Technical Advisor to Ekiti State Governor, Akogun Oguntayo who also confirmed that public. water runs in his house regularly.
