NATIONAL SPORTS FESTIVAL: KICKBOXING CHAIRMAN OGIDI URGES ATHLETES TO AIM FOR GOLD

The Chairman of Kickboxing Association, Ekiti State, Mr. Adekunle Ogidi, has charged all Ekiti athletes participating in the ongoing National Sports Festival in Ijebuode, Ogun State to strive for excellence and aim to win gold medals in their respective events.

In a statement in Ado Ekiti, Ogidi who recently donated multimillionaire training kits to kickboxers emphasized the importance of dedication, hard work, and perseverance in achieving success in sports.

He urged the athletes to see themselves as a champion and work towards achieving such foresight without fear so as to justify the huge investment of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji in sports.

He said:”As representatives of our dear state, it’s not just about participation, but about winning and making our state proud.

“I urge you all to put in your best efforts, to give it your all, and to strive for gold in every event.”

Ogidi commended the Technical Advisor to Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Olusola Osetoba and other management team for the impressive level of preparation hoping the the athletes would make them proud.

He promised to continue to contribute his quota towards the development of sports in the state.
