A group, BAO for Better Health has declared its support for the re-election of Biodun Oyebanji as governor of Ekiti State.
The group which comprises stakeholders from the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH), union leaders in collaboration with the hospital management made the declaration in Ido Ekiti during the Ekiti North Central Senatorial District endorsement rally for Governor Oyebanji.
As part of their support, BAO for Better Health provided free healthcare services to attendees at the rally.
The medical team lead by Dr. Famous Adeyemi, said their presence at the event was to demonstrate their backing for governor Oyebanji second term in office
According to Dr. Adeyemi, “We are committed to supporting Governor Oyebanji’s vision for a healthier Ekiti, and we believe that his re-election is crucial to the continued development of the state’s health sector.”
He noted that the group’s provision of free healthcare services was a way of giving back to the society on behalf of Governor Oyebanji, and also a gesture of appreciation for his contributions to the development of EKSUTH and the welfare of its staff.
The free healthcare services included; medical consultations, screenings, and distribution of medications to those in need. The team also offered health education and counseling to promote healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
