The Commander of the Nigerian Army’s Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Major General Aligbe, has encouraged candidates taking the ongoing Nigerian Army examination to approach it with seriousness and determination, emphasizing that their performance will have a significant impact on their military careers.

Addressing the candidates, Major General Aligbe acknowledged that while the majority of them were sitting for the examination on their first attempt, others were retaking it for the second or third time.

He reassured all participants that the examination requirements had been carefully designed to be fair and achievable for any serious-minded candidate.

“I believe that while a majority of you are on your first attempt, others are attempting the examination for the second or third time,” said Aligbe. “The requirements are fair enough for any serious-minded candidate to tackle successfully.”

The TRADOC Commander emphasised the significance of the examination, illustrating that it was more than just a test; it was an assessment of the candidates’ present level of skill in their responsibilities within the Nigerian Army.

He urged the candidates to take the examination seriously, as it would have a big impact on their future military careers.

“It is important that you all put in the seriousness and determination that would produce the best result,” Aligbe stressed. “Your performance in this examination is a key determinant of your progress in the Nigerian Army.”

He also assured the candidates of the integrity and fairness of the examination panel and the directing staff, emphasizing that the process would be conducted with absolute transparency.

“I would like to assure you all of the absolute integrity and understanding of members of the examination panel and directing staff,” Aligbe concluded.

The examination is a vital component in the professional growth of Nigerian Army troops, assessing their proficiency and readiness for increased duties. Candidates are expected to exhibit their knowledge and skills, which will impact their future assignments and promotions in the Army.
