The Senior Special Assistant to Ekiti State Governor on Labour Matters, Comrade Kayode Fatomiluyi has congratulated the state’s TUC Chairman, Comrade Sola Adigun on his election as the National President of the Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools, ASUSS.
Adigun was unanimously elected unopposed during the national delegate conference of the Union held in Abuja.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti, Comrade Fatomiluyi expressed joy that Adigun broke the record of becoming the first Ekiti person to emerge as National President of a union in recent time.
According to him, such feat was impressive and a plus to the state.
He expressed happiness that the victory of Adigun was coming during the time of Governor Biodun Oyebanji who is always concerned about the betterment of workers.
He prayed God to give him the wisdom and understanding to move the union to an enviable height.
