The Ekiti State Commissioner of Police, CP Akinwale Adeniran is expected to attend this month’s Congress of the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Ekiti State Council.
The visit of the CP is to show support and solidarity to members of the pen profession and further strengthen the relationship between the police and the media.
The meeting according to a notice issued by the secretary of the union, Comrade Seun Ogunsakin will hold on Wednesday, the 26th of June, 2024 at the NUJ Press Centre, Old Governor’s Office, Ado Ekiti begining from four O’clock in the evening.
The commissioner will also be giving out some security tips to the journalists so as to equip them with necessary idea on how to assist the command in the fight against crime.
