Youth Commissioner Hails Appointment of Dr. Olomojobi as New Head of Service

….Says appointment shows governor’s gender sensitivity

The Ekiti State Commissioner for Youth Development, Hon. Adesola Gold Adedayo, has hailed Governor Biodun Oyebanji for Appointing Dr. Folakemi Olomojobi as the new Head of Service.

Adedayo, who is from Osun Ekiti in Moba Local Government, described the Dr. Olomojobi’s appointment as a loud and well amplified testimony to Governor Oyebanji’s gender sensitivity and uncommon love for Moba Local Government Area of the State, where the new HoS hails.

The Governor, on Thursday, announced D. Olomojobi, an Otun Ekiti, Moba Local Government Area born Medical Doctor as new Head of Service to replace Engr. Sunday Komolafe, who will bow out of the service by June ending, after 35 years of meritorious service.

In a statement released in Ado Ekiti, on Sunday, the Youth Commissioner, praised Governor Oyebanji for considering Dr. Olomojobi, who prior to her appointment was the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education worthy of being elevated to such exalted and prestigious position.

The Commissioner urged the appointee to bring her wealth of experience as a thorough-bred and intellectually savvy bureaucrat to bear to revitalize the Civil Service for better productivity and delivery, in line with the six-point policy thrust of Governor Oyebanji’s administration .

Adedayo disclosed that the people of Moba Local Government had enjoyed a good deal in terms of appointments being savoured under Governor Oyebanji, saying the council currently has two commissioners as members of the State Executive Council.

According to Adedayo, the people of Moba are appreciative of the recognition being enjoyed under the current dispensation, promising that the citizens shall reciprocate the gesture through the ballots in 2026.

Adedayo eulogized the governor for exhibiting enormous respect and recognition for the council, saying Moba now parades top government functionaries in the star -studded State Executive Council composed through Governor Oyebanji’s shrewd and astute leadership.

Adedayo congratulated Dr. Olomojobi and the Moba Council of Traditional Rulers under the headship of Oore of Otun, HRM Oba Adekunle Adeagbo for the political recognition being currently accorded the council, urging the beneficiaries to justify the trust and confidence reposed in their knacks and integrity by the governor.

“Let me on behalf of Moba Local Government appreciate Governor Biodun Oyebanji on the appointment of Dr. Folakemi Olomojobi as the new Head of Service. We are proud of this feat as citizens of Moba LG and appreciative of Governor Oyebanji’s magnanimous spirit.

“Earlier before now, myself and Dr. Kareem Akande had been appointed as Commissioners representing Moba LG by the State Executive Council .

“Appointing Dr. Olomojobi also from the council amplified the love Governor Oyebanji has for Moba people. We appreciate the governor for his generosity and we pledge unalloyed support of our people for this administration”, Adedayo stated.
