The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Ekiti state chapter has described the new academic feat recently attained by wife of the state governor, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji as a fruit of dedicated academic pursuit
The women journalists in the state applauded the elevation of the First Lady to an Associate Professor of Educational Management at the University of Ibadan.
The NAWOJ in a statement signed by NAWOJ Secretary, Funmi Falae, the Association’s Chairperson, Mrs Adewumi Ademiju lauded the First Lady on the academic achievement, noting that “it is a testament to her hard work and dedication to scholarship.”
The Association described Dr. Oyebanji’s appointment as” a well-deserved recognition of her academic excellence and contributions to the field of educational management”
“NAWOJ also acknowledged her commitment to gender equality, enhancing education and empowering individuals in Ekiti State and beyond, through her various initiatives and programs.
“NAWOJ appreciated Governor Biodun Oyebanji for the support given to Her Excellency, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, to excel in her academic and philanthropic pursuits.”
